The Roter Kunstsalon is an annual art fair held at Museum Villa Rot. It originated as a tribute to the museum benefactors Hermann and Feodora Hoenes, who transformed their home into a place of encounter and cultural exchange.
Since its premiere in 2016, the Roter Kunstsalon has become a firm fixture in the annual calendar of galleries, art enthusiasts, and collectors. Renowned galleries from Germany and abroad present current positions from the art market in the historic villa and the modern art hall.
With around 400 square metres of exhibition space, the fair offers a concentrated yet diverse tour. Its familiar atmosphere encourages close observation, direct exchange, and individual consultation.
The museum park, hospitality in the museum café, and the supporting programme contribute to the distinctive character of this four-day event.
